Adrian  founded Business Plans Canada because he knows that it takes a team of experts to develop a solid and effective business plan.  Based on his Masters Degree in Business Administration, an Engineering Degree, and  project management certifications that are recognized throughout the world, Adrian has spent the last ten years  helping small to medium-sized companies grow their business.

A solutions and results oriented thinker, Adrian uses proven project management techniques on every  plan and project. To ensure the best results possible he oversees his team at all stages: consultation, assessment, execution, monitoring, approval, and delivery.

Adrian is very passionate about helping entrepreneurs and he goes the extra mile in order to meet, and exceed customers’ expectations.

Celeste Lozano – Business Consultant

Office Manager at Business Plans CanadaWith more than 12 years experience working for major corporations in South America, the UK and Canada, Celeste has a breadth of knowledge that strengthens the operations of Business Plans Canada.

Celeste has expertise  in Business Planning and Business Process Re-Engineering. She is an experienced speaker, trainer, and writer, whose strengths lie in working with teams and coaching clients and colleagues.

Celeste’s background includes a Bachelor of Computer Science degree and a Certificate in Project Management. She is fully fluent in English and Spanish, and her excellent communication skills have won her the trust and respect of senior executives and business owners around the world.

Sapphire Lightheart – Business Consultant

Sapphire brings over 30 years of senior business management experience to the team. She has excellent project coordination and leadership skills that were developed in her senior management positions in policy and communications in the Alberta and Yukon governments. She was the Vice President of Public Affairs for the Business Council of BC, and has operated a  successful consulting business.

Sapphire is the key point of contact for clients.  Her strong interpersonal skills and listening abilities are valued by clients and the team at Business Plans Canada.

Donna McMahon – Professional Business Plan Writer

Senior Editor at Business Plans CanadaDonna McMahon has a wide range of writing experience,  including public relations for a community college, freelance journalism, plain language legal writing, grant writing, writing for websites, medical reporting, and publishing popular fiction.

Donna has worked in many different settings, from highly technical industries such as engineering, biotech and the oil industry, to non-profit groups such as the Alzheimer Society of BC and the Vancouver Art Gallery. She particularly enjoys learning about industries that are new to her, and the challenge of explaining complex material clearly and concisely. She volunteers extensively in the community and with nonprofit organizations.

Creating business plans and financial plans that are viable, captivating and financially sound is one of her strengths.

Her education includes an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree and a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Diploma. Cheryl is passionate about working with entrepreneurs and newcomers to Canada.

Ted McNicol – Financial Modeler

Ted has worked with businesses in Canada, the U.S.A. and globally, providing management expertise, strategic planning and the proven ability to help businesses succeed in times of turmoil. His primary areas of expertise are in rewards design and implementation, performance measurement/management (company and individual) and process re-engineering/change management.

His education includes a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor and a Computer Information Systems Certificate from Algonquin College. Ted has taught business and human resources courses at two universities, both at the undergraduate and graduate level. He also has experience in curriculum design.

For the past few years, Ted has been a Director at Successful Contracting & Consulting, a Government-sponsored program to assist entrepreneurs in getting a quick start on their consulting or contracting business. He is very serious about preparing entrepreneurs to handle the business decisions that will allow them to succeed.
